Mahigit 13,000 QC contractual at job order employees, makatatanggap ng health plans

Magandang balita para sa mga empleyado na hindi naka-plantilla sa Quezon City.

Ito ay dahil sa bibigyan ni Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ng health insurance program ang nasa 13,000 na contractual at job order employees.

“The city government recognizes that the health and safety of our entire workforce is of paramount importance to us. It is the right of our employees—regardless of their employment status—to receive protection in the form of health insurance,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Sakop ng programa ang full-time contract of service (COS), job order (JO), at consultant employees ng executive at legislative branches nakapag-serbisyo ng anim na buwan bago ang Pebrero 1, 2022.

Sinabi naman ni Ronald Tan, officer-in-charge ng Quezon City Human Resource Management Department (HRMD), na makatatanggap ang mga empleyado ng aggregate benefit limit na P100,000 kada taon.

Kabilang sa benepisyo ang annual physical examinations, emergency care services, hospitalization o in-patient care at out-patient services, insurance para sa pre-existing at critical illnesses, at life insurance.

Sa ilalim ng Cocolife Healthcare agreement, valid ang health insurance program mula February 1, 2022 hanggang January 31, 2023.
