Binondo-Intramuros bridge, target buksan sa publiko sa Holy Week 2022

Malapit nang matapos ang konstruksyon ng Binondo – Intramuros Bridge Project, ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Sa report kay DPWH Secretary Roger Mercado, sinabi ni Undersecretary for UPMO Operations Emil Sadain na ‘on track’ ang pagsasagawa ng naturang flagship infrastructure project ng DPWH – Unified Project Management Office (UPMO) Operations.

“At 92 percent, we are rushing to finish the soon to be one of newest landmarks in Manila with its iconic basket-handle tied steel arch,” ani Sadain.

Plano anilang buksan ang naturang proyekto sa mga motorista sa Semana Santa.

Noong February 10, nag-inspeksyon si Sadain, kasama ang iba pang opsiyal, sa naturang tulay.

Prayoridad ang konstruksyon ng up at down ramps sa Binondo at Intramuros.

Sa Marso, inaasahang sisimulan ng contractor ang final retouching ng steel arch bridge at asphalt.

Pinondohan ang naturang P3.39-billion project sa pamamagitan ng government aid grant mula sa People’s Republic of China.

Inaasahang makatutulong ang naturang proyekto sa traffic decongestion program ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
