P1.2-M halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo, nasamsam sa Zamboanga City

Nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Southwestern Mindanao at Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang P1.2 milyong halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo sa bahagi ng Barangay Mariki sa Zamboanga City noong February 9.

Nakatanggap ng ulat ang PCG Station Zamboanga na may mga kargang kontrabando ang isang motorized pump boat.

Agad rumesponde ang mga awtoridad at nakumpirma ang 35 master cases ng smuggled na sigarilyo.

Sakay ng naturang bangka ang isang Sakili Adong Lim, isang residente mula sa Barangay Sta. Catalina sa Zamboanga City, habang nakilala naman ang crew members na sina Samri Mohammad Hadjula Nasri at Sahiban Arabasa Alfadzri.

Dinala naman ang mga nakumpiskang kontrabando sa BOC para sa isasagawang imbestigasyon.

Nanatili naman ang mga nahuling indibiduwal sa kustodiya ng Zamboanga City Maritime Police Station.
