‘Operation Baklas’ isinagawa sa pagsisimula ng campaign period
Nagsagawa ang Commission on Elections – National Capital Region (COMELEC-NCR) ng regionwide Operation Baklas, araw ng Martes, February 8.
Kasabay ito ng pagsisimula ng kampanya ng mga national candidate para sa 2022 National and Local Elections.
Awtorisado ang mga representante ng Comelec para alisin ang mga campaign material na nakalagay sa mga pampublikong lugar na hindi sakop ng common poster areas.
Inalis din ang mga ipinagbabawal na uri ng campaign paraphernalia.
“Removal shall be at the expense of the candidate or political party who benefits from the unlawful campaign materials,” saad sa Facebook post ng Comelec.
Nagsimula ang campaign period para sa national posts sa February 8, habang sisimulan naman ang kampanya sa local posts sa March 25.
