Pagtutulungan ng DepEd, DOH, DILG para sa expansion ng face-to-face classes, vaccination tuloy pa rin
Tuloy pa rin ang mabuting pagtutulungan ng Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Health (DOH), at Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa pagpapatupad ng mga pamantayan sa pinalawak na face-to-face classes at COVID-19 vaccination.
Sa pagsisimula ng expansion phase ng face-to-face classes sa buwan ng Pebrero, sinabi ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones na pinagtitibay pa rin ng kagawaran ang shared responsibility framework sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan sa DOH at DILG.
Layon nitong tiyaking nakaangkop sa tatlong kagawaran ang mga polisiya para protektahan ang stakeholders.
“The program for face-to-face classes which the President already delegated to us is a responsibility of three main agencies with DepEd as the main implementing agency. Then we have the Department of Health as our partner on health issues and risk assessment reports,” ani Briones.
Dagdag nito, “We have also invited Department of Interior and Local Government. I believe we should not implement any policy in any region or any locality without their participation, without the consent of local governments.”
Pinayagan nang simulan ang progressive expansion phase ng face-to-face classes sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.
Sa risk assessment report ng DOH para sa Pebrero 1 hanggang 15, 2022, aabot sa 304 na pampublikong paaralan ang nasa Alert Level 2 areas, kasama ang 118 paaralan sa mga lungsod ng NCR; 12 sa Batanes; 106 sa Bulacan, 33 sa Cavite, 21 sa Rizal, 5 sa Biliran, at 9 sa Southern Leyte.
Saad pa ni Briones, mahalaga ang working arrangement, kasama ang DOH sa vaccination program ng gobyerno.
“Between DepEd and DOH, DepEd is responsible for matters of policy development, information campaigns, capacity buildings, and actual learning delivery. On matters of health issues, it is the DOH which is responsible,” saad nito.
Binanggit din ng kalihim na tumatalima ang DepEd sa mga pambansang polisiya na sinusunod ng lahat ng pampublikong institusyon, kasama na ang mga panuntunan para sa mga indibiduwal na hindi pa bakunado.
