Diocese of Cubao nagbabala sa ginagawa ng isang pinatalsik na pari
Nagpalabas ng paalala ang Diocese of Cubao kaugnay sa diumanoy pagganap bilang pari ng isang Rico Sabanal, na dating miyembro ng Order of Carmelites congregation.
“The faithful of the Diocese of Cubao is hereby informed that Fr. Rico Sabanal is no longer a Roman Catholic priest and has no priestly faculty to perform any religious activities anywhere in the Philippines,” ang nakasaad sa circular na ipinalabas ng diyosis.
Inilabas ang abiso matapos makatanggap ng impormasyon na patuloy na nagseselebra ng Banal na Misa si Sabanal sa mga tanggapan sa Quezon City Hall at sa iba pang lugar na sakop ng Cubao Diocese.
Napaulat na tinanggal sa kongregasyon si Sabanal dahil sa diumanoy paglabag sa Canon 694.
Kinumpirma naman ni Fr. Esmeraldo Reforial, provincial secretary ng Order of Carmelites, na hindi na nila miyembro si Sabanal simula pa noong 2008.
“Please refrain from inviting him and inform your parishioners and disseminate this information to Administrator/Officer in-Charge of chapels, funeral chapels, schools, hospitals, government and private offices that are within your jurisdiction,” ayon pa sa naturang abiso.
