DOH, NTF naglabas ng pahayag ukol sa petisyon laban sa COVID-19 vaccination sa mga batang may edad 5-11

Nagpalabas ng pahayag ang Department of Health (DOH) at National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) ukol sa inihaing petisyon ng dalawang magulang sa Quezon City court laban sa planong COVID-19 vaccination sa mga batang may edad lima hanggang 11.

Humiling ang dalawang magulang na maglabas ng Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) at ideklara bilang unconstitutional ang vaccination plan ng gobyerno.

“We recognize their right to file a case, and we will wait for the legal process to take its course,” saad ng dalawang kagawaran.

Gayunman, iginiit ng DOH at NTF na mananatili silang matatag sa pangako na protektahan ang lahat ng sektor ng siyudad, kabilang ang mga bata at iba pang vulnerable group.

“As such, we will proceed with the vaccination rollout for the said sage group as planned,” pahayag nito.

Base anila sa masusing pag-aaral ng mga health expert ang itinakdang polisiya sa pagbabakuna sa mga bata.

“And as we always emphasize, all FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective,” dagdag nito.

Ipinunto pa nito na sa 8.1 milyong bata na nabakunahan sa buong mundo, walang napaulat na nasawi o nagkaroon ng malalang adverse effect.

Dahil dito, hinikayat ng DOH at NTF ang lahat ng magulang at guardian na piliin ang tamang desisyon para sa kapakanan ng kanilang mga anak.
