PCG, inaprubahan ang pagsama ng hijab sa uniporme ng babaeng Muslim personnel
Inaprubahan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang pagsama ng hijab sa uniporme ng babaeng Muslim Coast Guard personnel.
Epektibo ito simula January 25, 2022.
Nagpasalamat ang Muslim community sa naturang hanay kina PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Leopoldo Laroya, PCG Uniform Board Chairperson, CG Vice Admiral Artemio Abu, at sa PCG senior officers at iba pang miyembro ng PCG Uniform Board para sa pagsuporta sa pagkilala sa ‘Muslim Fatima’ sa the Coast Guard service.
Sa pamamagitan nito, umaasa naman ang Muslim community na mahihikayat ang mas marami pang babaeng Muslim na makiisa sa Coast Guard.
