“Kasimbayanan” inilunsad ng PNP para sa payapang 2022 elections

Inilunsad ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang Secure, Accurate, Free and Fair National and Local Elections (S.A.F.E NLE) 2022 na tinawag na “Kasimbayanan”.

Kasama ng pambansang pulisya sa naturang proyekto ang religious sector, Commission on Elections (Comelec), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at community leaders sa Camp Crame, Quezon City araw ng Huwebes (February 3).

“Today’s momentous occasion is an opportune time not only to prepare our holistic action-oriented efforts to ensure a violent-free and fraud-free election but also to affirm in public our pledge of commitment for a non-partisan, secure, and peaceful May 2022 elections,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Dionardo Carlos

Magiging instrumento ang naturang proyekto upang magtulung-tulong na maiwasan ang korupsyon at karahasan sa electoral process.

“This noble and worthy endeavor is fully in line and consistent with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s pronouncements of ensuring a vibrant democracy where there is respect for the rule of law and the Constitution, where regular transfer of power is guaranteed through free and honest elections, and where the Filipino People trust a government that is clean, efficient, effective, God-fearing, and people-centered,” dagdag ng hepe ng PNP.

Nasaksihan sa event ang Lighting of SAFE Candles at Pinning of SAFE 2022 Pin kasama ang mga opisyal ng PNP, PCG, AFP, COMELEC, NAMFREL, DICT, PPRCV, religious at community Leaders.

Sinundan pa ito ng Manifesto Signing of a Covenant of Peace para maipahiwatig at maalagaan ang pagkakaisa ng komunidad upang magkaroon ng tiwala at kredibilidad sa electoral process/

Ani Carlos, kasabay ng pagpapaigting ng kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga at iba pang uri ng kriminalidad, malalakasin din ang mga hakbang para mabantayan ang lahat ng electoral threats para sa tapat at maayos na halalan.

“There is really an urgent need to strengthen collaborative partnership with the church and the community to maintain integrity and transparency in the conduct of police administration and operation as well as to show our unwavering commitment to the cause of Human Rights (HR) and the rule of law,” aniya.

Dagdag nito, “Let us ensure that this platform for participatory governance will be adopted and cascaded down to the lowest field units and stations, so that all Filipinos, including our foreign counterparts and our partners who are also here with us, will act together as one family to a commitment that we will perform professionally for this peaceful elections.”
