Pilipinas, bumalik na sa ‘moderate risk’ status sa COVID-19

Mula sa high at critical risk classification, bumaba na sa moderate risk status ang Pilipinas dahil sa COVID-19.

“The Philippines is now at moderate risk classification. Dati nasa high at critical risk tayo pero ngayon moderate na lang,” ayon kay Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.

Bumababa na kasi aniya ang naitatalang kaso ng nakahahawang sakit sa Metro Manila, at maging sa ilang probinsya sa bansa.

“We show a negative one-week and two-week growth rate. Ang average daily attack rate natin, nasa high risk pa rin pero bumaba siya sa 19.43 cases for every 100,000 individuals,” dagdag nito.

Ani Vergeire, nasa low risk ang paggamit ng hospital beds at intensive care units (ICU) para sa COVID-19 patients.

“Tayo ay talagang nagmomove na towards a decline,” aniya pa.

Sa ngayon, nasa 160,297 ang aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.
