Para lalo pang mapalawak ang pagbabakuna kontra COVID-19, dinagdagan pa ng pamahalaan ng Quezon City ang vaccination sites.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, nasa 140 na vaccination sites na ang operational sa lungsod.
“We are expanding and intensifying our vaccination program to accommodate the city’s eligible population, estimated at 2.8 million residents, including 5-11 year old children. This figure does not include the thousands of non-resident workers who also get their shots in the city,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Matatagpuan aniya ang vaccination sites sa health centers, malls, schools, community venues, churches at special venues gaya ng Smart Araneta Coliseum at Quezon Memorial Circle.
Mayroon din aniyang vaccination sites sa loob ng subdivisions at private work spaces, government agencies, care homes, at iba pang closed institutions.
Tuloy din aniya ang home vaccinations para sa mga bedridden at differently-abled populations continue pati na ang drive-thru jabs sa ilang mall parking lots.
Sinabi pa ni Belmonte na binuksan na rin ang pharmacy-based.
