Pagpapalit ng script, alam ng Comelec ayon sa Smartmatic
Alam ng Commission on Elections ang ginawa ng Smartmatic na pagpapalit ng hash code sa transparency server noong gabi ng May 9, 2016.
Ayon kay Marlon Garcia, technical support team leader ng Smartmatic, hindi nila pwedeng basta-basta i-operate ang server nang walang kinatawan mula sa Comelec.
Aniya, dalawang password ang kinakailangan na i-type kapag may kailangang baguhin.
Una, ang password ng Smartmatic at ikalawa ay password ng Comelec na tanging ang kinatawan lang ng Comelec ang pwedeng magtype.
“We cannot operate platform without having the other half of the password which is with the Comelec. A Comelec representative typed their password in when the change was made,” sinabi ni Garcia.

Dagdag pa ni Garcia, inanunsyo din sa mga political party ang ginawang pagbabago sa hash code.
Pwede aniyang tanungin ang mga political party hinggil dito para mapatunayang transparent ang ginawang proseso.
Sinabi din ni Garcia na mayroon namang CCTV sa command center ng PPCRV at pwede itong i-review para mapatunayan nilang may kinatawan ang mga political party nang isagawa ang pagbabago sa hash code.
