China, nag-donate ng P1-B halaga ng military equipment sa AFP
Nag-donate ang gobyerno ng China ng RMB130 million o katumbas ng P1 bilyong halaga ng military equipment sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Ayon sa Department of National Defense (DND), dumating ang unang batch ng mga kagamitan noong January 16.
Kabilang sa donasyon ang rescue & relief equipment, drone systems, detectors, water purification vehicles, ambulances, firetrucks, x-ray machines, EOD robots, bomb disposal suits & transport vehicles; engineering equipment- backhoes, dumptrucks, forklifts, at earthmovers.
Isasagawa ang pormal na turnover ceremony ng mga kagamitan sa susunod na buwan.
Ipapadala naman ang ikalawang batch ng mga kagamitan sa ibang petsa.
