P1.185 bilyong pondo para sa SRA ng health workers, inilabas na ng DBM

Naglabas na ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ng karagdagang pondo na aabot na P1.185 bilyon para sa Special Risk Allowance (SRA) ng health workers.

Kasunod ito ng pag-apruba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Aabot sa 63,812 public at private healthcare workers na direktang humaharap sa mga pasyenteng tinamaan ng COVID-19 ang makakatanggap ng naturang benepisyo.

Sa kabuuan, umabot na sa P11.856 bilyon ang nailabas na pondo ng kagawaran para sa 562,928 healthcare workers na dapat makakuha ng SRA na hindi hihigit sa P5,000 kada buwan simula December 20, 2020 hanggang June 30, 2021.

“The SRA is an additional benefit received by HCWs, apart from the existing compensations as prescribed under the Magna Carta of Public Health Workers and the DOH-DBM Joint Circular No. 1, series of 2016,” saad ng kagawaran.
