Face-to-face classes palalawakin ng DepEd

Palalawakin pa ng Department of Education ang face-to-face classes sa mga lugar na nasa Alert Level 1 at 2 o ang mga lugar na may mababang kaso ng COVID-19.

Sa Talk to the People ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, sinabi ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones na target ng kanilang hanay  na i-expand ang face-to-face classes sa unang linggo ng Pebrero.

Pero ayon kay Briones, patuloy na makikipag-ugnayan ang DepEd sa Department of Health, Department of Justice at maging sa local government units para masigurong ligtas ang mga estudyante at mga guro.

Inirerekomenda aniya ng DepEd na tanging ang mga bakunadong guro at non-teaching personnel ang papayagang lumahok sa face-to-face classes.

Mas makabubuti din aniya kung bakunado na ang mga estudyante.

Hindi aniya palalawakin ang face-to-face classes ng basta-bats an lamang at hindi kumakatok sa LGUs.

Kailangan din aniyang makakuha muna ang DepEd ng written consent ng mga magulang.
