Inurong ng Supreme Court ang 2020/21 Bar Examinations sa February 4 (Biyernes) at 6 (Linggo), 2022.
Batay sa Bar Bulletin No. 22, s. 2022, sinabi ni Associate Justice at 2020/21 Bar Examinations Chairperson Marvic Leonen na ito ay may kinalaman sa pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19.
16.8 porsyento sa 8,546 Bar examinees aniya ang nag-ulat sa Office of the Bar Chairperson via email na positibo sa nakahahawang sakit, nakatira kasama ang COVID-19 positive patient, at mayroon ding nakasailalim sa quarantine dahil naikonsidera bilang direct contact.
“They are at risk of not being able to take the Bar Examinations if the original schedule of January 23 to 25, 2022 were to push through,” paliwanag nito.
Magiging “critically understaffed” aniya ang 16 sa 31 teams na naka-deploy kung itutuloy ang orihinal na schedule dahil sa infection rate at quarantine situation ng ilang Bar personnel.
Nagpasalamat naman ang SC sa mga local government unit (LGU) at paaralan na mangunguna sa Command Center at magsisilbing local testing centers.
“All existing instructions in previous Bar Bulletins not affected by this decision remain effective,” saad pa nito.
Inabisuhan din ang lahat ng examinee na sumailalim sa quarantine simula sa January 20, 2022.
