Pinalawig pa ng Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene o Quiapo Church ang pansamantalang pagsasara ng simbahan.
Ito ay dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
Ayon kay Msgr. Hernando Coronel, rector at parish priest ng Quiapo Church, mananatiling sarado ang simbahan hanggang sa Enero 26.
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Msgr. Coronel na suspendido ang organizational work at iba pang church-related activities.
Tiniyak naman ni Msgr. Coronel na tuloy ang online na misa.
Habang sarado ang simbahan ng dalawang linggo, sinabi ni Msgr. Coronel na magsasagawa sila ng disinfection at intensive santiation sa loob at labas ng Quiapo Church.
