Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Maria Belen Sunga Acosta bilang bagong chairperson ng Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA).
Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary at acting presidential spokesman Karlo Nograles, mayroong anim na taong fix term si Acosta.
Papalitan ni Acosta si dating MinDA chief Manny Piñol na una nang nagbitiw sa puwesto dahil kakandidatong senador sa 2022 elections.
Hangad ng Palasyo ang matagumpay na panunungkulan ni Acosta.
“We wish Chairperson Acosta all the best in her new assignment, and are confident that she will continue the initiatives her predecessors pursued to accelerate the socioeconomic growth of Mindanao,” pahayag ni Nograles.
