Sen. Lacson: Dapat science-based ang shortened quarantine period
Hindi isyu kay Senator Panfilo Lacson ang plano ng gobyerno na iklian ang quarantine period ng mga fully vaccinated na tinamaan ng COVID-19.
Ngunit diin lang ng presidential aspirant ng Partido Reporma, kailangan ay base sa siyensa ang pagpapatupad ng ‘shortened isolation period’ at hindi dahil sa sumisirit na bilang ng COVID 19 cases.
Inahalimbawa pa ni Lacson ang sarili na dahil nag-positibo siya sa sakit matatapos ang kanyang 14-day quarantine period sa Enero 18 at kung pasok na siya sa naturang plano, sa Enero 14 ay tapos na siya.
Sa ngayon aniya, napakahalaga ng kalusugan lalo na ngayon halos hindi na makontrol ang pagkalat ng nakakamatay na sakit.
“That said, I will take the side of some concerned health workers unless there is sufficient science-based data to support the Department of Health’s directive,” sabi pa ng senador.
