Senate building, isasara ng isang linggo dahil sa pagdami ng active COVID-19 cases
Inanunsiyo ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III na isang linggong isasara ang Senate Building simula sa darating na Lunes, Enero 10 hanggang Enero 16.
Bunsod ito nang pagdami ng mga kawani na tinamaan ng COVID-19 na sa sa ngayon ay nasa 46 na.
Bukod pa dito, 175 empleyado rin ang nagkaroon ng exposure sa tao na taglay ang sakit at may mga sintomas ng sakit at hinihintay ang resulta ng kanilang swab test.
Kabilang pa aniya sa mga naka-quarantine ang limang tauhan ng Senate Medical Bureau.
Aniya, sa pagsasara ng Senate Building ay magsasagawa ng disinfection at para na rin mapigilan ang interaksyon at hawaan ng mga kawani.
“Total closure and recommendation nila for 7 days. So nobody can enter the Senate premises except those that will do the disinfection on January 8 and 15. Therefore, i will heed the call of the medical team,” sabi ni Sotto.
