Nasa limang simbahan sa Maynila ang pansamantala ng isinara sa publiko.
Ito ay matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang mga pari at mga staff.
Ayon sa anunsyon ng Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM) sarado ang:
– National Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus mula noong December 31, 2021 hanggang January 14, 2022
– National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe mula January 4 hanggang 17, 2022
– Santa Maria Goretti Parish mula January 3 hanggang 15, 2022
– St. Anthony of Padua mula January 4 until further notice
– San Roque de Sampaloc Parish mula January 4 hanggang 2022
Bagamat sarado, tuloy pa rin ang misa sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga official account sa social media.
Ayon sa RCAM, isinara ang mga simbahan para bigyang daan ang sanitation at disinfection.
