PNP magsasagawa ng random visit sa mga establisyemento, quarantine hotel

Magsasagawa ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng random visit sa mga establisyemento at quarantine hotels sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng Alert Level 3.

Alinsunod sa direktiba ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, titiyakin ng PNP na nasusunod at naipatutupad ang health protocols sa mga establisyemento, lalo na sa National Capital Region (NCR).

“This will give the PNP the authority to intensify our inspection of these establishments since there is a directive from the DILG,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Dionardo Carlos.

Hindi iaanunsiyo ang inspeksyon upang madetermina kung tumatalima ang mga establisyemento sa health protocols.

“Let this be a warning that there is no room for complacency during this health emergency,” saad ng hepe ng pambansang pulisya.

Base sa panuntunan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) sa mga lugar na nasa Alert Level 3, maaring makapag-operate ang mga negosyo kung fully vaccinated laban sa COVID-19 ang kanilang mga empleyado.

Maari ring payagang makapasok sa kanilang establisyemento ang mga customer na fully vaccinated, nang may 30-percent capacity sa indoor set-up at 50-percent capacity para sa outdoors o Al Fresco.

Kasunod ito ng kontrobersya ukol sa pagliban ng ilang protocol violators who sa mandatory quarantine sa isang hotel.

“We believe that police visibility will serve the purpose to monitor how the quarantine hotels are accommodating their guests who are required to isolate while waiting for the completion of the required number of quarantine days,” ani Carlos.

Nakikipag-ugnayan naman ang PNP sa iba pang law enforcement agencies upang masiguro ang pagtalima sa quarantine protocol.
