NBI iimbestigahan ang pagpatay sa Cavite government prosecutor
Inatasan ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra ang NBI na imbestigahan ang pagpatay sa isang government prosecutor sa Trece Martires City sa Cavite kaninang umaga.
“I have directed the NBI to immediately join in the manhunt and apprehension of the perpetrators of this treacherous crime,” sabi ni Guevarra kaugnay sa pagpatay kay Asst. City Prosecutor Edilbert Mendoza.
Unang napa-ulat na alas-7:38 ng umaga nang mangyari ang insidente sa bahay ng 48-anyos na prosecutor sa Elysian Field Subd., sa Barangay Cabuco, sa nabanggit na lungsod.
Nakatayo ito sa harapan ng kanyang bahay nang siya ay barilin ng isang nag-iisang salarin.
Agad namatay ang biktima sanhi ng isang tama ng bala sa ulo.
“The tragic death of ACP Mendoza clearly demonstrates the risk to life that our prosecutors face in the performance of their duties,” sabi pa ng kalihim.
