PNP, makikipag-ugnayan sa DOH ukol sa datos ng firework-related injuries
Inatasan ang mga police unit na makipag-ugnayan sa Department of Health (DOH) ukol sa mga napapaulat na datos sa firework-related injuries sa lugar na kanilang nasasakupan.
Ayon kay PNP Chief General Dionardo Carlos, mayroong insidente na ilang biktima ang hindi nag-uulat sa kanilang hanay, lalo na ang mga minor injury.
“The tendency is, these cases will not be recorded in our police blotter while the hospitals or the DOH has taken note of them,” paliwanag nito.
Nais aniyang maiwasan ang hindi pare-parehong datos sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno na maaring magdulot ng kalituhan sa publiko.
“Accurate numbers are important to assess the result of our campaign for a safe and orderly celebration of the New Year. It won’t hurt anything if we just double check the figures,” aniya pa.
Tiniyak din nito na sumusunod ang pambansang pulisya sa pahayag ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año na responsibilidad ng PNP ang pagpapatupad ng mga polisiya ukol sa paggawa at paggamit ng paputok sa pamamagitan ng pag-inspeksyon, pagkumpiska, at pagsira ng mga ilegal na paputok.
