Mga negosyante sa QC, may aabangang triple tax relief sa 2022
May triple tax relief na aabangan ang mga negosyante sa Quezon City sa susunod na taon.
Ito ay dahil sa inaprubahan na ng Quezon City council ang tatlong ordinansa na magbibigay ginhawa sa mga negosyante sa gitna ng pandemya sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, inaprubahan na ng konseho ang City Ordinance SP-3067, S-2021 na nagpapalawig sa deadline ng pagbabayad ng business taxes, fees, at charges na walang surcharges oo interest mula January 20, 2022 (First Quarter) at March 20, 2022 (Second Quarter) hanggang sa July 20, 2022.
“As the economy gradually opens, some businesses that are heavily affected by the pandemic are still struggling on their way to recovery and we, in the city government, want to help them in as many ways as we can, and passing this tax relief ordinance is just one of them,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Inaprubahan din aniya ng konseho ang City Ordinance SP-3068, S-2021, na layunin na mai-waive ang penalties, surcharges, at interest sa mga hindi nabayarang taxes sa taong 2021 at mga nakaraang taon.
Inaprubahan din aniya ng konseho ang City Ordinance SP-3069 S-2021 na magbibigay ng staggered settlement para sa outstanding business taxes ng hanggang 12 buwan na installment mula 2021 at mga nakaraang taon.
“The Quezon City government recognizes the business owners’ financial sacrifices in order to keep their operations going, thus providing employment to QCitizens and residents of other cities and provinces who continue to depend on such businesses for their livelihood,” pahayag ni Majoriy Leader Franz Pumaren said.
Nabatid na ang tatlong ordinansa ay isinulong nina Councilors Franz Pumaren, Jun Ferrer, Eric Medina Donny Matias.
Inaasahang lalagadaan ni Belmonte ang tatlong ordinansa bago matapos ang taong 2021.
