BOC, nag-donate ng relief goods sa mga biktima ng #OdettePH
Nag-donate ang Bureau of Customs, sa pamamagitan ng Auction and Cargo Disposal Division, ng imported foodstuff at footwear sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) para sa mga biktima ng bagyong Odette sa Bisperas ng Pasko, December 24, 2021.
Dumating sa Port of Batangas (POB), Manila International Container Port (MICP), at Port of Manila ang 5,200 sako ng bigas, 91,200 de lata, at 81,200 pares ng sapatos.
Inilabas ang Decrees of Abandonment upang ideklarang abandona ang 10×20 containers ng Vietnam rice at 1×40 container ng sapatos, sa ilalim ng Customs and Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) matapos mabigong masunod ang deklarasyon para sa mga kargamento.
Samantala, nakuha ng ahensya ang 2×20 containers ng de lata bunsod ng paglabas sa Section 1400 ukol sa Sections 117 at 1113 ng CMTA.
Nagpasalamat naman ang DSWD sa tulong ng BOC para sa facilitation ng foreign donations.
