PPA nagpaabot ng financial, operational support sa mga ahensyang sangkot sa #OdettePH response ops

Nagpaabot ang Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ng financial at operational support sa mga ahensya at organisasyong sangkot sa relief at reconstruction efforts sa mga lugar na sinalanta ng Bagyong Odette.

Sa ilalim ng under Memorandum Circular (MC) 23 na may petsang December 21, ipinag-utos ni PPA General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago sa lahat ng port managers, terminal operators, cargo handling operators, at shipping companies na bigyan ng loading at unloading priority ang mga sasakyan, kagamitan, at tauhan na kabilang sa relief operations.

Handa aniya ang PPA na rumesponde sa pangangailangan ng mga apektadong residente.

“We will make sure that the needed relief and recovery items and equipment get to where they are needed in the fastest possible time. We do not need any unnecessary delays in the delivery of relief items, especially when lives are at stake,” pahayag ni Santiago.

Nagtalaga rin ang ahensya ng isang special lane para sa pagproseso ng mga dokumento at clearances para sa cargoes, sasakyan, at kagamitan.

Samantala, nakasaad din sa memorandum circular na waived ang pagbabayad ng passenger terminal building (PTB) fees, at RO-RO terminal fees.

Epektibo aniya ito hanggang January 20, 2022.
