QC, nag-abot ng karagdagang P20-M ayuda sa Central Visayas

May dagdag na P20 milyong ayuda ang pamahalaan ng Quezon City sa Central Visayas na nasalanta ng Bagyong Odette.

Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, P10 milyon ang ibibigay sa probinsya ng Bohol habang ang natitirang P10 milyon ay pantay na paghahatian ng mga munisipalidad ng Bais, Manjuyod, Bindoy, Ayungon, Tayasan, Jimalalud, La Libertad, at Vallehermoso sa Negros Oriental at Ronda at Dumanjug sa Cebu Province.

“This morning, the Quezon City Council as presided by Vice Mayor Gian Sotto passed City Resolution no. 8802 S-2021, authored by Councilors Franz Pumaren, Donato Matias, and Wency Lagumbay and co-authored by the other members of the council, authorizing Mayor Joy Belmonte to donate the said amount to some areas that were battered by the typhoon,” bahagi ng pahayag ni Belmonte.

“The people of Quezon City are deeply saddened by the plight of our brothers and sisters in regions that were ravaged by Odette. We are only seeing the extent of the storm’s wrath given the limited capacity of media. We hope that this donation will bring you some relief from the effects of the typhoon,” dagdag ni Belmonte.

Matatamdaang noong Lunes, December 20, nag-donate na si Belmonte ng P10 milyong pinansyal na ayuda sa 10 munisipalidad sa Southern Leyte. Ito ay kinabibilangan ng Anahawan, Hinundayan, Libagon, Padre Burgos, Pintuyan, San Francisco, San Juan, San Ricardo, Tomas Oppus, at Limasawa.
