QC, itinuturing na ‘very low risk’ sa COVID-19

Itinuturing ng OCTA Research group na “very low risk” na sa COVID-19 ang Quezon City.

Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, nakatutuwa ang ulat na ito ng OCTA.

Sa pinakahuling ulat ng OCTA, bumaba sa 15 mula sa 20 na kaso ng COVID-19 ang naitatala kada araw noong December 14 hanggang 20.

Nasa 0.36 na lamang ang repdoruction number habang ang average daily attack rate per 100,000 population ay 0.47.

Bumaba rin ang positivity rate sa 0.83 porsyento mula sa 1.10% noong nakaraang linggo.

“This is a special gift to all of us since Christmas is just a few days away. Somehow with these numbers, we can confidently celebrate with family and friends,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Nabatid na noong December 18, 73 barangay ang nakapagtala ng bagong kaso ng COVID-19.

“We are aware that this is the time for family reunions and other celebrations, but we must not be complacent. We can still be exposed to the infection so we need to protect ourselves,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Ayon kay Belmonte, as of December 22, ang aktibong kaso ay nasa 175 na lamang (0.10 porsyento), habang ang nakarekober ay nasa 178,681 (99 porsyento), at ang namatay ay nasa 1,625 (0.90%).

Tuloy din aniya ang vaccination sa lungsod.

Sa pinakahuling talaan noong December 22, 1,889,924 na ang fully vaccinated sa lungsod habang 193,227 na menor de edad na 12 hanggang 17-anyos ang nakatanggap ng first dose ng bakuna.
