Ito ay dahil sa lawak ng pinsala ng nagdaang Bagyong Odette.
Ayon kay Bohol Governor Arthur Yap, nilagdaan na niya ang Executive Order Number 65 na nagdedeklara ng state of calamity.
Una nang sinabi ng Bohol Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office na maraming gusali, establisyemento, pasilidad, bahay at iba pa ang nasira dahil sa bagyo.
Isa ang Bohol sa mga mahigpit na sinalanta ng bagyo.
