Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA (BOC – NAIA), Philippine Drug enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) ang 9,160 tablets ng Ecstasy party drugs sa Central Mail Exchange Center sa Pasay City.
Nadiskubre ang mga ilegal na droga sa mga damit at sapatos.
Base sa datos, nagmula ang kargamento sa Netherlands at naka-consign sa isang indibiduwal sa Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
Matapos ang inventory, napag-alamang nagkakahalaga ng P15.572 milyon ang mga ilegal na droga.
Dinala ang mga kontrabando sa PDEA para sa mas masusing imbestigasyon at case build up laban sa mga sangkot sa paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Drugs Act, at Republic Act10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
