Publiko, binalaan vs spam messages

Nagbigay ng babala ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa publiko laban sa spam messages.

Napaulat kasi na ilang indibiduwal ang nakakatanggap ng spam messages na nag-aalok ng trabaho at iba pang Christmas freebies.

Sinabi ng pambansang pulisya na isang uri ng modus operandi ang spamming upang maakit ang ilang indibiduwal na puntahan ang link para makuha ang mga personal at sensitibong impormasyon.

“Most victims fall prey to these traps when being offered jobs such as processing online orders of a shopping app,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Dionardo Carlos.

Dagdag nito, “Scammers pretend to be connected with well-established companies who shall process the job application.”

Paalala ng PNP, sakaling makaranas nito, siyasatin muna ang impormasyon ukol sa kumpanya bago magbigay ng anumang detalye.

Huwag din aniyang pansinin ang mga mensahe na hindi kilala ang nagpadala.
