Foreign Affairs Sec. Locsin bumuwelta kay Health Sec. Duque
Pinagsabihan ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na wala itong karapatan na kuwestiyonin ang kanyang motibo sa pagbubunyag ukol sa napurnadang alok ng Estados Unidos na 50 milyong syringes.
“Don’t ever, Duque, ever, question my motives,” ang tweet ni Locsin ukol sa pahayag ni Duque na nais nitong pataasin ang presyo sa nais ng supplier ng syringes.
Ayon pa kay Locsin, dapat ay naging ‘professional’ ang pagtugon sa alok at hindi ito ipinaubaya na lamang sa isang ‘junior staff.’
“Hindi, just respond to the offer professionaly on the right not junior level; say no and explain why. The offeror answered back devastatingly,” sabi pa ng kalihim.
Sinabi naman ni Duque na bukas naman ang komunikasyon nil ani Locsin, sa halip na muli itong mag-tweet na ‘dropped the ball again.’
