Sen. Win Gatchalian nanawagan na magtipid sa kuryente ngayon Kapaskuhan
Para makatipid sa pera, hinikayat ni Senator Sherwin Gatchalian ang mga konsyumer na magtipid sa paggamit ng kuryente.
Kasabay nito ang kanyang panawagan sa Department of Energy (DOE) na paigtingin ang information campaign ukol sa tamang paggamit ng enerhiya
“This policy is explicitly provided to be carried out by the DOE under RA 11285 or the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act as well as Proclamation No. 1427,” sabi ng namumuno sa Senate Committee on Energy.
Base sa naturang proklamasyon, ang buwan ng Disyembre ay ang Energy Consciousness Month.
Puna ni Gatchalian na simula nang ipatupad ang RA 11285 noong Enero ng nakaraang taon, 39 probisyon sa batas ang hindi pa naikakasa ng DOE.
“Half of it is still not implemented. This law is very important because it promotes energy efficiency by mandating certain consumption levels for commercial and industrial corporations and it gives DOE a lot of power to implement efficiency and conservation in businesses. We’re urging the DOE to fully implement this because if we can save, then that’s already tantamount to producing new electricity,” aniya.
Banggit ng senador kung ganap na maipapatupad ang batas batas, makakatipid sa konsumo sa kuryente ng hanggang 23 porsiyento ang mga negosyo.
