“We cannot require all domestic travelers to present VaxCertPH just yet since the program is still in its soft launch. We, therefore, advise all LGUs to accept both: the VaxCertPH digital copy or the LGU-issued vaccination card, whichever is available, until such time that the program is fully operational,” pahayag ni DILG Undersecretary and Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.
Nag-abiso si DILG Secretary Eduardo Año sa lahat ng LGU at DILG Regional, Provincial, and Field Offices ukol sa VaxCertPH program makaraang makatanggap ng impormasyon na ilang LGU ang humihingi ng VaxCertPH para sa paglalabas ng S-Pass o Safe, Swift, and Smart Passage (S-PaSS) Travel Management System sa inbound travelers kahit na limitado pang nagagamit ang naturang programa.
Hindi pa kasi nakukumpleto ang pag-eencode ng LGUs ng vaccination details sa Vaccine Operations Reporting System (VORS).
Nilinaw ni Malaya na sapat na ang LGU vaccination card o VaxCertPH digital certificate will suffice.
Hindi na aniya kailangan ng sertipikasyon mula sa LGU para masuportahan ang nasabing dokumento.
Sa ngayon, operational ang VaxCertPH sa Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at mga Filipino na bumibiyahe sa ibang bansa lamang at hindi requirement para sa domestic travel batay sa panuntunan ng IATF.
“We urge all our LGUs to fast track the submission of their vaccination records and to assign more encoders so that the entire country can make use of the VaxCertPH program at the soonest possible time,” ani Malaya.
