182 dumating sa Pilipinas mula sa South Africa, hinahanap ng DOH

May 182 pumasok sa bansa mula sa Sourth Korea noong Nobyembre 15 hanggang 29 ang hinahanap pa rin ng Department of Health (DOH).

Sinabi ng kagawaran na kabuuang 253 ang pumasok sa bansa mula South Africa ang naitala sa naturang petsa at 249 sa mga ito ay returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) at ang apat ay mga banyaga.

Ayon kay DOH Epidemiology Bureau Dir. Alethea de Guzman, nahanap na ng Bureau of Quarantine ang 71 sa 253 at apat sa kanila ang sumailalim na sa COVID 19 test at tatlo sa kanila ang negatibo na sa sakit.

Nagsimula ang paghahanap sa 253 base sa kautusan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) sa local government units, Bureau of Quarantine, and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) na hanapin ang mga pumasok sa bansa at nagmula sa South Africa sa nabanggit na petsa.

Noong Nobyembre 26, naging epektibo ang pagpasok sa Pilipinas ng mga eroplano mula sa South Africa dahil sa pagkalat ng Omicron variant ng COVID-19 at ito ay tatagal hanggang Disyembre 15.
