Mga aplikasyon para sa poll gun ban exemption, hihimayin nang husto
Tiniyak ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Dionardo Carlos na bubusisiin nila nang husto ang lahat ng hihingi ng exemption sa ipapatupad na gun ban kasabay nang idaraos na eleksyon sa susunod na taon.
Ayon kay Carlos, magsasagawa ng ‘threat assessment’ ang Joint Security and Coordinating Council (JSSC) sa mga nagsumite ng kanilang aplikasyon para sa makapagdala pa rin ng baril sa election period.
“The PNP unit that will assist in the threat assessment will base the merits of the application if there is a clear and present danger that will put the life of the applicant at high risk,” sabi ng hepe ng pambansang pulisya.
Noong nakaraang Miyerkules, tumanggap na ang PNP ng mga aplikasyon para sa gun ban exemption, gayundin sa mga nais mabigyan ng security details.
Tatanggapin ang lahat ng aplikasyon para sa certification of authority for gun ban exemption hanggang sa Mayo 25 sa susunod na taon.
