Malakanyang: Omicron varian ng COVID 19 hindi pa nakapapasok sa Pilipinas
Wala pang naitatalang kaso ng Omicron variant ng COVID-19 ang Pilipinas.
Ito ang ginawang pagtitiyak ni Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles base sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng Malakanyang kay Philippine Genome Center Executive Dir. Cynthia Saloma.
Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary at acting presidential spokesman Karlo Nograles, base ito sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng Palasyo kay Philippine Genome Center Executive Director Cynthia Saloma.
“Be that as it may, Philippine Genome Center Executive Director Cynthia Saloma informed us that at present the Omicron variant has not yet been detected in the country. Hindi pa po nakakapasok ang Omicron variant sa Pilipinas,” pahayag pa ng acting presidential spokesman.
Gayunman, sinabi ni Nograles na hindi naman nagpapabaya ang pamahalaan at nagpatupad ba aniya ng border control sa mga pasahero galing sa ibang bansa.
Bukod dito, todo pagbabakuna na rin aniya ang ginagawa ng pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng National Vaccination Day, na huling araw ngayon.
