Quezon solon, hinikayat ang publiko na manatiling maingat vs Omicron variant

Hinikayat ni Quezon Rep. Angelina “Helen” Tan ang publiko na manatiling maingat kasunod ng pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa ilang bahagi ng bansa at sa bagong COVID-19 variant na Omicron.

Umapela rin ang chairperson ng House Committee on Health sa Department of Health (DOH) na pag-aralan ang pagpapalawak ng travel ban at mas mahigpit na pagpapataw ng quarantine measures depende sa bansang pinagmulan nito.

“Since the fight against COVID-19 is everybody’s responsibility, I urge the public to strengthen health and social measures, and for the health department to enhance vaccination coverage,” saad ng kongresista.

Hinikayat din nito ang mga hindi pa nagpapabakuna na tumanggap na ng COVID-19 vaccine upang maging protektado sila at kanilang pamilya laban sa nakahahawang sakit.

Diin nito, importante ang pagpapalakas ng coronavirus sequencing abilities at testing ng bansa bilang bahagi ng responde sa paglaban sa pandemya.

“Let us take an uninterrupted aggressive stance against COVID-19 by observing the tried and tested health protocols to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus such as wearing a mask properly, doing physical distancing, avoiding poorly ventilated or crowded spaces, and getting vaccinated,” ani Tan.
