DOTr, naglunsad ng anti-corruption committee
Bilang suporta sa kampanya laban sa korupsyon, naglunsad ang Department of Transportation (DOTr), katuwang ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), ng DOTr Anti-Corruption Committee (DOTr-ACC).
Isinagawa ang virtual ceremony ng bagong komite, araw ng Huwebes, November 25.
Ayon kay DOTr Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Reinier Paul Yebra, ang pagbuo ng komite ay alinsunod sa Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) kasama ang PACC sa paggawa ng National Anti-Corruption Coordinating Council under the Project Kasangga: Aksyon Laban sa Korapsyon.
Inatasan ang DOTr-ACC na gumawa ng mga polisiya upang palakasin ang paglaban ng kagawaran sa korupsyon.
Babantayan din ng DOTr-ACC ang corruption-related cases at magpapatupad ng anti-corruption programs sa ahensya.
“Maski po simoy lang ng korapsyon sa ating Kagawaran at sa ating mga ahensyang kalakip dito ay hindi po niya pinalulusot. Not even tolerance. This clearly highlights Secretary Art Tugade’s desire for continued and long-lasting change,” pahayag ni DOTr Undersecretary for Administrative Service Artemio Tuazon, Jr.
Sa ilalim na pamumuno ni Tugade, ipinatutupad sa DOTr ang anti-corruption measures, tulad ng “one-strike” policy laban sa korupsyon, livestreaming ng bidding at procurement processes, “no noon-break” policy, “no kamag-anak” system, no gift policy, at ang digitization o pagkakaroon ng shifting sa online processing ng mga aplikasyon ng lisensya, prangkisa, at iba pang serbisyo.
Kasunod ng paglulunsad ng DOTr-ACC ang sabay-sabay na pagpirma sa Manifesto and Declaration of Oath of Honesty ng mga opisyal at empleyado ng DOTr at 18 pang ahensya.
