Mayor Sara Duterte, negatibo sa ilegal na droga
Nagnegatibo si Davao City Mayor at vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte-Carpio sa ilegal na droga, kabilang ang cocaine, ecstacy at methamphetamine.
Sumailalim sa drug test si Duterte-Carpio matapos magpasa ng negative drug test result ang kaniyang running mate na si dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
“This test, I took voluntarily upon the request of my Uniteam partner, Senador Bongbong Marocs, to support the call for transparency as aspiring public officials seeking the trust of our fellow Filipinos,” pahayag ng alkalde.
Ipinadala ni Marcos ang kaniyang negatibong resulta ng drug test, araw ng Martes (November 23).
Saad nito, “Uniteam BBM-Sara’s stand against illegal drugs is united and unequivocal. This can be seen from both our negative tests as well as our common stance against the proliferation of illegal drugs and the need for effective measures of prevention, rehabilitation, and enforcement.”
Ani Duterte-Carpio, kailangang tutukan ng mga botante ang “substantial qualifications” sa pagpili ng susunod na presidente at bise presidente ng bansa.
“Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang naghihirap. Gamitin natin ang pagkakataong ito upang magkaisa sa pagpili ng pamumunong tapat at sapat sa ating layunin na ang ating bansa ay maging maayos, masagana at mapayapa,” dagdag nito.
Nagkaroon ng inisyatibo ang mga tatakbo sa 2022 national elections makaraang magpahapyaw si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isang presidentiable ang gumagamit ng cocaine.
Naunang sumalang sa drug test ang tandem nina Senator at presidential candidate Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, at Senate President at vice presidential aspirant Vicente “Tito” Sotto.
Nagsumite rin ng negatibong resulta ng drug test si Senador Manny Pacquiao habang nakatakdang magpa-drug test si Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, kasama si Dr. Willie Ong sa Huwebes ng umaga, November 25.
