Mga tanggapan ng gobyerno, inatasang makiisa sa National Vaccination Day
Inatasan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang lahat ng tanggapan ng pamahalaan pati na ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na tulungan at tiyakin na magiging maayos ang gagawing malawakang bakunahan na Bayanihan, Bakunahan program ng Department of Health (DOH) at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa buong bansa sa Nobyembre 29 hanggang Disyembre 1.
Ayon sa Pangulo, target ng National Vaccination Day na mabakunahan ang 15 milyong katao sa buong bansa sa loob ng tatlong araw.
“I have directed all government agencies and instrumentalities to extend all possible support for this “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” program led by the Department of Health and the Department of Interior and Local Government,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
“I urge all national government agencies as well as provincial and local government units to use all available resources, especially human resources, to help in the vaccination efforts during these three days of vaccination,” dagdag ng Pangulo.
Hinihikayat din ng Pangulo ang mga mayor at gobernador na gumastos at pakainin ang mga magpapabakuna.
Sisikapin ng Pangulo na mabayaran ng pamahalaan ang ginastos ng LGU sa pagpapakain sa mga magpapabakuna.
“Iyon namang pupunta sa Jollibee para magpabakuna at saka sa McDonald’s, matapos parang gutumin, walang pera, tapos maamoy niya ‘yang karne diyan, I suggest — I am authorizing all governors and mayors, gumastos na lang kayo ng pera, papalitan ko lang ‘yan balang araw,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Pinasasalamatan din ng Pangulo ang pribadong sektor, lalo na ang mga may-ari ng mall food chain at pribadong hospital at iba na makikiisa sa national vaccination day.
“Kailangan talaga lahat mabakunahan. Ang mga ayaw, they should not be allowed inside public restaurants or resorts because they are a threat to public health and the safety of the general public. Threat to public health,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
