PDEA may paglilinaw sa mga kuwestiyon sa drug test result ni dating Sen. Bongbong Marcos

Accredited ng Department of Health (DOH) ang St. Luke’s Hospital, kung saan nagpa-drug test si dating Senator Bongbong Marcos.

Sinabi ni Dir. Derrick Carreon, ang tagapagsalita ng PDEA, base sa Republic Act 9165, ang authorized drug testing ay pinangangasiwaan ng DOH kayat dapat sa accredited lamang ng kagawaran magpa-drug test.

Bago ito, may mga kumuwestiyon sa drug-test result na isinumite ni Marcos sa PDEA sa katuwiran na isinagawa ito sa isang pribadong institusyon at hindi sa PDEA.

“PDEA may administer drug tests upon request by any party and approval by the Director General of such request,” sabi ni Carreon.

Ayon pa kay Carreon tinanggap nila ang drug test result ni Marcos para sa kanilang file o reference.

“When we said na hindi po tayo repository ng records ng drug test from other testing facilities, ibig sabihin po ay hindi naman required na mag-submit sa amin. Pero kung magbigay sila tatanggapin po as a matter of file/reference,” paglilinaw pa ni Carreon.

Sa resulta na isinumite ni Marcos, lumabas na negatibo ito sa paggamit ng anumang droga.
