Sen. Tolentino, may panawagan sa DSWD ukol sa pagpababakuna ng 4Ps beneficiaries
Hinikayat ni Senator Francis Tolentino ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na gumawa ng paraan para makubinsi ang mga benepisaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) na magpaturok ng COVID-19 vaccines.
Sa deliebasyon sa 2022 budget ng DSWD, iginiit ni Tolentino na hindi siya sang-ayon sa nais ni Interior Sec. Eduardo Año na kailangan ay bakunado muna ang mga benepisaryo bago sila makakatanggap ng ayuda.
“Its probably a show of exasperation and disappointment on the part of the secretary,” sabi nito na patukoy sa kalihim ng DILG.
Nabatid na 16 porsiyento pa lamang sa mga benepisaryo ang nagpapabakuna.
Kayat ibinilin niya kay Social Welfare Sec. Rolando Bautista na umisip ng kakaibang pamamaraan para makumbinsi ang 4Ps beneficiaries na magpabakuna.
“He can give some incentives or he can tie-up with the Secretary of Health. Perhaps this can all be linked and produce a more meaningful vaccination program. That is really the order of the day to enable our economy to open, and I believe General Bautista can do this,” sabi ng senador.
Ang suhestiyon na ito ay sinuportahan naman ni Sen. Imee Marcos, ang budget sponsor ng DSWD.
