Booster shots sa mga health workers sa QC umarangkada na

Sinimulan na ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City ang pagbibigay ng booster shots kontra COVID-19 sa mga health workers.

Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, aabot sa 5,000 health workers at non medical personnel ang bibigyan ng booster shots simula ngayong araw, Nobyembre 23 hanggang sa Biyernes, Nobyembre 26 ng 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 4:00 ng hapon.

Isasagawa ang pagbabakuna sa ibat ibang health facilities pati na sa Rosa Susano Elementary School, Pinyahan Elementary School at Don Alejandro Roces Science Technology High School.

“Our healthcare workers are the first ones to receive the vaccines when we first launched it in March. Since they are consistently exposed to the virus due to their work, it is important that they  be given booster shots for additional protection,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Base sa guidelines ng Department of Health, bibigyan ng booster shots ang mga nakatanggap ng second dose na anim na buwan na ang nakalilipas. Ibig sabihin, ang ga nabakunahan ng second dose noong Abril at Mayo ay maaring mabigyan na ng booster shots.
