Brand new house and lot, maagang pamasko ng Villar SIPAG sa isang OFW
Sa pakikilahok sa 10th OFW and Family Summit, maagang dumating ang Pasko sa isang OFW nang manalo ito ng bagong bahay at lupa mula sa pamilya nina Senators Manny at Cynthia Villar.
Ayon sa grand prize winner na si Rodrigo Pido, ng Pasig City, ipinagdasal nila ng kanyang pamilya ang premyong Lessandra house and lot.
Naibahagi ni Pido, na may apat na anak, na natanggal siya sa kanyang trabaho bilang ground equipment coordinator sa isang airport sa Kuwait dahil sa pandemya dulot ng COVID 19.
Nabatid na higit 5,000 OFWs ang nakilahok sa summit, na naisakatuparan sa pagpupursige na rin nina dating DPWH Sec. Mark Villar, Deputy House Speaker Camille Villar at Vista Land President Paolo Villar.
Kumpiyansa ang dating kalihim, na kandidato sa pagka-senador, na makakabangon ang sambayanang Filipino sa pandemya, samantalang sinabi ni Rep. Villar na ang summit ay pagbibigay pugay ng kanilang pamilya sa OFWs.
May mga nanalo din ng appliances, sari-sari store packages at dalawang motorsiklo.
“We started this (summit) 10 years ago with the goal of helping our people who are out of the country. As House Speaker and Senate President, I saw the many problems of our OFWs,” sabi pa ng founding chairman ng Villar SIPAG.
Idinagdag naman ni Sen. Villar; “This year, we really committed to push through with the summit so we can celebrate a decade of togetherness and new learnings. Puwede naman pala tayong magsama maski online. Nakakatuwa dahil nararamdaman ko kung gaano kayo ka-excited sa muling pagtatanghal ng ating OFW Summit.”
