ICC walang hurisdiksyon sa Pilipinas

Nanindigan ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang na walang hurisdiksyon ang International Criminal Court para imbestigahan si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kasong crimes against humanity dahil sa umanoý human rights violation sa anti-drug war campaign.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary at acting presidential spokesman Karlo Nograles, kumpiyansa ang Palasyo na maabswelto si Pangulong Duterte sa kaso.

“We reiterate that it is the position of the Philippine government that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has no jurisdiction over it,” pahayag ni Nograles.

“We trust that the matter will be resolved in favor of the exoneration of our government and the recognition of the vibrancy of our justice system,” pahayag ni Nograles.

Una nang humirit ang embahada ng Pilipinas sa The Hague, Netherlands sa ICC na itigil ang imbestigasyon bagay na pinagbigyan nito.
