Proyekytong pabahay ng gobyerno hindi abot-kaya ang presyo, puna ni Sen. Cynthia Villar
Humingi ng paglilinaw si Sen. Cynthia Villar sa tunay na mandato ng Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC).
Kasunod ito ng pagpuna ni Villar na ang mga bahay na inaalok ng SHFC sa Bacoor City sa Cavite ay nagkakahalaga ng P900,000.
Diin nito hindi kakayanin ng mga mahihirap ang naturang halaga ng pabahay ng gobyerno.
Nalaman ito ni Villar sa paghahanap niya ng relocation sites ng mga residente na maapektuhan ng river clean-up project sa lungsod ng Las Piñas..
Banggit pa niya, ang downpayment para sa pabahay ay P250,000 at ang buwanang hulog naman ay P2,500 na hindi kakayanin ng mga mahihirap.
“What is the mandate of SHFC? Are they supposed to do what the private companies are doing, which are expensive housing costs or are they supposed to help the poor to have an opportunity for affordable housing,” ang tanong ng senadora.
