Dating PNP Chief Eleazar tatakbo sa 2022 senatorial race, sumanib sa Lacson – Sotto tandem
Isang araw matapos mag-retiro bilang hepe ng pambansang pulisya, nanumpa na si retired Police General Guillermo Eleazar sa Partido Reporma para sa kanyang kandidatura sa pagka-senador sa eleksyon sa susunod na taon.
Ngayon araw, kasama na si Eleazar nina Senate President Vicente Sotto III at Senator Panfilo Lacson sa isang pagtitipon ng kanilang mga taga-suporta sa San Fernando City sa Pampanga.
Ayon naman kay Lacson kumpiyansa siya na malaki ang magagawa ni Eleazar sakaling mahalal itong senador dahil sa taglay na prinsipyo at katangian para sa tapat at matinong pamumuno.
“Eleazar’s addition to the Partido Reporma senatorial slate reinforces the Lacson-Sotto campaign’s edge in integrity, experience and courage in public service, as they expect the former PNP Chief to bring his toughness on crime and police abuse to the Senate with respect to legislation relevant to peace and order,” dagdag pa ni Lacson.
