Summon para sa pagkansela ng COC ni Marcos inilabas na ng Comelec
Pinadalhan na ng summon ng Commission on Elections ang kampo ni presidential aspirant at dating Senador Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos.
May kaugnayan ito sa petition to cancel ng certificate of candidacy na inihain laban kay Marcos.
Ayon kay Comelec spokesman James Jimenez, inaasahang maihahain na ngayong araw ang summon sa respondent.
May limang araw aniya ang respondent para tumugon sa summon.
“Summons was issued yesterday and are expected to be served today. We are awaiting proof of service. Upon receipt of the summons, the respondent will have five days to file an answer,” pahayag ni Jimenez.
Pinakakansela ng ilang grupo ang COV ni Marcos dahil hindi na kwalipikadong kumandidatong pangulo ng bansa matapos ma-convict ng Quezon City Regional Trial court sa kasong tax evasion dahil sa hindi paghahain ng income tax return noong 1995.
Ayon kay Jimenez, kung sasagot na ang respondent, magsasagawa na ng pre-conference ang Comelec.
